MS used a mirror image to render both sides, which is why they don't have any sign-writing on their C172 fuselage! We could have made our own new model to overcome this, but that would have added another month to the three it took to get this finished. We use the default Cessna template which either saved time or file size or both by not having seperate wings and fuselage sides.

Please note you may have to reload the aircraft twice for this to take effect, and to make sure it's best to quite FS2004 and restart. Increase this value by a small amount (but I would advise no more than 0.1)until the idle cut goes away. Much better is to find the ENGINE section in the cfg and you'll see a line there giving a value for minimum throttle. This will cause all sorts of other problems. If that doesn't work PLEASE DO NOT TWEAK THE IDLE THRUST EFFICIENCY SCALAR in the aircraft cfg file. If that doesn't work please try to re-calibrate your throttle, making sure you are completely all the way back on the lever when marking the zero point. Sometimes applying a very slight null zone to your throttle in FS2004/control/sensitivity fixes this. The engine cut is most definitely throttle calibration. You can't bleed off speed and if you don't take steps to slow the plane down, like slipping, you end up using a lot of runway. While low idle would seem to be a problem, too fast an idle will make it difficult to land. This is what causes the windmilling you see on an engine that has been stopped but not feathered. In flight you will seldom get below 1000 rpm due to the airplane going through the air.
